The Bailey Middle School Orchestra’s final performance of the school year will be Tues., May 16 with the Spring Concert.
 
We invite our orchestra family members to purchase a personal ad for your student to be published in our concert program. Let your child know how proud you are of his/her achievements by printing a photo and personal message. Create a special memento for your performing student!  Ads are $25, see attached for an example.
 
Messages and photos can be emailed to [email protected] or turned into Mrs. McArthur.

It is almost time for our annual Carnation Sale fundraiser! The Orchestra Boosters need your help to make this a success.  We will be selling carnations during lunches beginning on Mon., 1/30, through Mon., Feb. 13.  The carnations will be delivered on Tues., Feb. 14 during first period.

Bailey Middle School Orchestra Boosters

Below are the scheduled UIL rehearsals for January and February. 

Important Dates:

• Thursday, Feb. 9    Orchestra Pre-UIL Concert at Bailey Middle School, 6:00 p.m.
• Thursday, Feb. 16   Pre-UIL Festival at the AISD Performing Arts Center, 11:00 a.m.
• Thursday, Mar. 2     UIL Concert and Sight Reading Competition at the AISD Performing Arts Center, Time TBD

 

Please have your child bring their Concert or Chamber Orchestra formal dress. The Beginner Orchestra should wear all black. All must wear black shoes. Individual portraits will be made as well as classroom groups. This attire is required for the entire class, even if you choose not to purchase portraits.

Please complete the order form and send payment prior to or on picture day.
